Help finding supplies...

Okay, I am finally getting the guts up to try and make something, but I am having trouble with one supply.....I can't find any faux fur to make a fox tail and extra to use for details. I have searched every place I can think of for realistic faux fur, and I have come up with nothing. I have even thought of using white faux fur, making a tail and airbrushing the colors on, but I don't have an airbrush gun. Roll Eyes

Hi Rochelle,

I've gotten 8 samples of faux fur from Van Dykes Taxidermy: http://www.vandykestaxidermy.com/product/01321966/

I haven't used it yet, so I can't really say what it's like. If you're going to heat it or anything, you might want to test a bit first, as I don't know how they'll react.

An alternative to faux fur is real vintage fur, from an old coat (you can look for one at Goodwill and such), unless you really just don't want to use real fur.
