New Tutorial?
04/07/08 at 11:49:40

Will there be another tutorial for a wizard or maybe a full body baby dragon?

I am totally new to sculpting and excited to get started. Gathering the supplies is basically where I am at. I have 3 CD's Dragon Bust, Painting Realistic skin and Dragon egg tutorial, I am just waiting for the wooden egg to come in.

I have been playing with the clay. Made a big nose and was surprised I made it look so real lol. but the lips have totally beaten and very intimidated.

I want to make a wizard for DDL and a baby dragon for DS who thinks mom can only make cutie things lol.

Rambling on again. any who.. would be VERY interested in a tutorial for full body wizard and baby dragon.

Thanks for reading my rambling.

Hi Selena, and welcome to the forum!

I think Julie's pretty busy these days, so I doubt that a new tutorial will be in the making for a while.  But there are some other tutorials out there that might help; here are a few:

Go to this website and find "Dragon Tutorial by Katherine Steffes Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4":
http://www.pirnie.org/fairiescloset/
(Sadly, Katie passed away a couple years ago, but she sculpted the most adorable dragons.)

As for a wizard tutorial, I'd look for one that teaches how to sculpt an elderly man, and go from there.
