I havent tried it on Puppen Yet.  Im going to with in the next week or so.  I'll have to let you know, unless you try it before then.

I haven't tried this tutorial yet.  I have a WIP that I will try it on soon, but it's Prosculpt.

I think I remember reading that you have to wash your sculpt with mild soap and water.  Thats what Ive been doing with the sculpts I paint now.  
 
Its to prevent the beading.

I guess I will just try it on a few discs of clay first.  I will try soap and water.  I have also heard that brushing the clay with acetone "opens the pores in the clay", puppen just doesn't seem as porous and this person uses prosculpt.  I have painted prosculpt before and it takes paint very well.  When I use puppen it makes me think of Barbie dolls but it isn't anywhere near as flexible, uncured it just gives me that feeling though.
