Board Rules
 
As much as I hate to even talk about this, inevitably it will  have to be brought up. Right now we don't have many members, so there will probably be little need to even bring it up, but as any forum grows, problems will arise. I'd like to keep the board rules to an absolute minimum though
 
Off topic
 
Certain boards will need to be kept on topic. These will be the Sculpting Chat, Other Art, Sculpting Tutorials, Tips and Techniques, Administrative Notices, Work in Progress, and Finished work. If you have something else to talk about feel free to use the General Chat board. Nothing is off topic there! Want to talk about your pets, family, friends, your health or the weather then do it there.
 
How to treat others
 
Nothing gets my goat as much as running a person down. Even if they aren't a member of the board, try to keep complaints, gossip or other nonsense off the board. At the very least keep it to a minimum. Try to treat each other well too. Joking is one thing, degrading another member purposely will be looked down upon.  
 
Profanity
 
This is where it gets a bit sticky. I myself tend to talk like a sailor most of the time in real life. Sometimes the English language just doesn't provide words that fit like profanity does. There are some words that are by default changed to something less profane, and I will probably get rid of these soon. If cussing bothers you, you may want to find another squeaky clean board to become a member of. However, I will not tolerate any use of slander towards anyone's race, color, gender, creed, religion or anything else that comes across as bigoted, racist, or antisemitic. You tend to hear the "F" word a lot in my household, but will never hear the "N" word used. I've kicked someone out of my house for that in real life, and I won't tolerate it here.  
 
Banning a member
 
There is only a couple of reasons why I would even consider banning anyone from the board. The first is the aforementioned use of racial slurs. The second is spamming. If anyone comes on and spams the list about online casinos, cheap prescriptions, Im*a*friggin*moron, or anything else even closely regarded as spam, there will be no second chances. Otherwise, I hope to keep this a ban free environment. I whole heartedly believe in free speech, but won't tolerate language that is related to hate, or harassment of any one group of people, or spamming the board with useless crap.
 
Other than these rules, feel free to make this your home on the net. I'm probably the most laid back person you will ever meet and I intend on keeping this board that way.
