The final result came out very nice--I like the copious amounts of hanging hair as it suggests seaweed to me, which is perfect for a mermaid.

I used viscose fibers (red, white, brown, blonde) mixed together.  After I applied the hair to her head I used a fabric stiffener to twist in her "dreads" and finished up with a little crystal laquer and micro-pearls.

Thanks!  I still have to go back tonight & put the finally info on the tutorial.  I'll have to find the name of the gun again LOL it's a 2 part instant dry glue.  You add the glue then spray it & it's dry!

Wow; he's great!  I love the little bird on his tail, too (seen in the eBay link).  Your tutorial was fun to follow.  What kind of glue did you use for the wings and birds?

Here she is all finished and wild!  The coral is real, I purchased the base crazy cheap because the coral was broken.
