Delbir the Dwarf

I'm getting smaller. Well at least my work is for the time being. Delbir the Dwarf is a metal smith and is showing off his latest work, a dagger that he has handcrafted. Amazingly, he nearly ended up as a scrapped project, but he's a wily little fellow and fought hard to get finished up. He has definitely endeared himself to me. Delbir stands about 5 1/2 inches tall (see size comparison photo), and is free standing. He is gently posable, and stands securely on his own two feet without any aids.

He is sculpted out of polymer clay without the use of molds of any kind (pure sculpt). His body is soft sculptured over a wire armature. His hair and beard are llama wool, and all of his clothing is hand sewn. His leather belt has a hand made working buckle. Shoes are sculpted from Apoxie Sculpt and painted with acrylic paints.

The dagger is hand sculpted from Aves Apoxie Sculpt and is very durable. It has been painted with acrylic paints, and has a hand wrapped handle of waxed cording. It can be removed from his hands and replaced with any object you see fit.
