Avaris

Sold

Avaris is a Prophitz. These are my new line of evil faes who are all centered around greed and avarice. I keep hearing people tell me I am putting too much work into my art dolls, and not getting the amount of money to cover my time and cost. One day I was told that I needed to make a profit by someone near and dear to me, and I thought "What a great idea!". Now why didn't I think of that sooner? Now NO ONE can tell me I haven't made a Prophit!

Thus Avaris and the line of Prophitz were born.

Prophitz are greedy little creatures willing to step on anyone to get ahead. They are the antithesis and mortal enemy of the muses, and are the first to curb anything in the way of creativity. To some they are a menace, and to others constant companions. Many are proud of their Prophitz, but for some unknown reason tend to hide them from the public around the month of April.

Avaris is 7 inches tall when standing erect. He is very poseable with a soft body over wire armature frame. His hands, feet, head and wings are all made from polymer clay. Wings are unbreakable, flexible, and poseable with a gentle hand. He stands well on his own, and his profit and loss chart can be replaced by anything else you wish him to hold, such as a dollar bill, or other thin paper type item.

He is dressed in cotton clothing and has a leather cap, satchel, and belt. Inside his satchel are $1 Fae dollars with his own face on the bill. These are removable from the pouch.

His eyes are hand painted, green of course, and his skin has been colored a lovely greed and money green with acrylic paints and covered with a translucent clay for durability.

Avaris was made without the use of molds of any kind, and is a 100% pure sculpt. In addition, no part of this creation was made by anyone but myself. No items were bought or from a pattern. He is signed, numbered and dated, and will never be reproduced, since he is an original, one of a kind creation.
