Nienna

Sold

Nienna is my first faerie. She is a bibliophile and loves to read stories about the "other realm". Of course I'm talking about the human world. She is another one of my "believers" who, despite ridicule and strange looks from the other Faes, ardently believes in the existence of humans.

She is a dreamer and loves to read "Human Tales", such as the book she is holding in her hands, as she lies on her stomach in the grass.

Most of the other Faes spend time nipping about the forest doing faerie things, but she is more often found with her nose in a good book.

Nienna is fascinated by the human world, and often thinks about how wonderful life would be not having to use her own wings to fly, being able to watch television, and generally living the good life.

As with all my sculptures, Nienna is hand sculpted out of polymer clay without the use of molds of any kind. She is a one of a kind creations and will never be reproduced.

Niena's book is separate from the rest of her and can be replaced with any of your other items if you wish. Her wings are virtually unbreakable and are made from copper wire and copper tape, and translucent liquid sculpey which allows them to be flexible. Her wings are non-removable since the chance of being damaged in shipping is minimal.

Her skin is the natural color of the clay with some blush and details applied in acrylic colors. She wears a soft leather loin cloth and top, and has a small hat made of the same material. Her hair is composed of feathers.

She is approximately 4 1/2 inches tall to the tip of her wing in a lying position and is about 8 inches long from the tip of her toe to the end of her fingers, but would be about 9 1/2 inches tall were she standing.

The book she is holding is entitled "Human Tales", and has a red book mark.
